Brown rat control

Norway rats come up through the drains: we stop them at the source.

from

Duration

1 to 1.5 hours, follow-up 10 to 15 days later.

The brown rat, or Norway rat, is the rat of sewers and cellars. A strong swimmer, it comes up through pipes, digs burrows along foundations and runs along walls, always following the same trails.

So the treatment targets its routes as much as the population: locked bait stations on the runs we find, drains and manholes checked, a non-return valve where rats climb up through the waste pipes, and finally every entry hole sealed.

Your questions

Norway rats come up through the drains: we stop them at the source.

Book a visit →

Can a rat really come up through the toilet?

+

Yes, brown rats swim and can get through a U-bend. When this is how they are getting in, the technician recommends fitting a non-return valve on the pipe concerned.

Who pays for rat control in a shared building?

+

Communal areas (cellars, yards, bin stores) are the responsibility of the building's owners' association; the inside of a flat falls to the occupant or the owner depending on the situation. We work for either and can coordinate both.

Will the rats come back after treatment?

+

As long as entry points stay open, other rats can move back in. That is why sealing and a follow-up visit are part of every job.

Shall we take care of it?
