Airbnb hosts: a pest-free home between every guest
Bed bugs, cockroaches, mice: we work between two bookings and hand you a dated photo report you can file or show.
The quick check
- Mattress and base seams
- Back of the headboard
- Skirting within a metre of the bed
- Luggage rack and wardrobe
At every change of sheets, torch in hand.
Same-day photo report
Findings, products used, entry points sealed: a dated document to keep in the property file.
2-hour slot, price agreed upfront
You book and pay online before the visit. No surprise quote on the doorstep.
Follow-up and written guarantee
A follow-up visit comes after treatment. If activity persists, we come back under the guarantee.
The essentials
In short-term lets, bed bugs nearly always arrive in a guest's luggage, not because a place is dirty. The earlier an infestation is spotted, ideally during the changeover clean, the shorter the treatment and the fewer booked nights you lose.
A flat let by the night sees more suitcases in a month than an ordinary home does in ten years. Every check-in is a chance for an insect to move in, and every check-out a chance for it to travel on to another property you manage.
We work with hosts and property managers using the Méthode Verrou: detect early, neutralise the source, seal the entry points and keep watch. Visits are fitted around your calendar, and every one ends with a photo report emailed the same day.
Why hospitality professionals call us
Fitted around your bookings
We slot the visit into a gap in your calendar and tell you how many nights to block before you book.
No need to be there
Key safe, property manager or caretaker: access is arranged remotely and the report lands in your inbox.
We find the source
Luggage, a neighbouring flat, a service duct: the Méthode Verrou finds the way in and closes it so the problem stays gone.
Certibiocide-certified technicians
Approved products applied by certified technicians, with re-entry instructions given in writing.
What an untreated infestation costs
Blocked nights
An infested flat can't be relet until it has been treated and checked. Every day of waiting costs you cancellations.
A review that stays online
A public review mentioning bites or insects stays visible for a long time and weighs on future bookings.
A second property affected
Dirty linen, cleaning bags, the property manager's trolley: without precautions, bed bugs hop from one flat to the next.
A problem from next door
Cockroaches and bed bugs travel through ducts and party walls. Without treatment coordinated with the building, they come back.

Frequently asked questions
How many nights do I need to block for a treatment?
It depends on the method and the extent. Dry steam or heat treatment often lets you reopen quickly; a chemical treatment requires an airing period stated on the sheet we leave you. We give you an estimate before you book the slot.
My guest was bitten: does that mean bed bugs?
Not necessarily. Bites alone can't identify the insect: mosquitoes, fleas or skin reactions can look similar. You need physical evidence (insects, black droppings, shed skins), which is exactly what an inspection looks for.
Should I warn the next guest?
If the flat has been treated and checked, you let it as normal. Until treatment is complete, keep it closed to bookings: that is the simplest way to avoid a dispute.
Can you come if I'm not on site?
Yes, as long as access is arranged (key safe, property manager, caretaker). The photo report is emailed to you the same day and can be forwarded to your property manager.
