Hotels and Booking.com properties: protect your rooms and your reviews
One affected room shouldn't become a whole floor or a public review. Inspection, targeted treatment and follow-up, planned around your occupancy.
The quick check
- Mattress and base seams
- Headboard taken down
- Bedside drawers and backs
- Luggage rack, skirting and sockets
At every change of sheets, torch in hand.
A photo report for every room
Each room inspected or treated appears in the report sent the same day, with its findings.
2-hour slots booked online
Plan around your check-outs and check-ins, with a price known and paid in advance.
Follow-up and written guarantee
A follow-up visit comes after every treatment, and the guarantee is given to you in writing.
The essentials
In a property with several rooms, everything depends on how fast you isolate: a suspect room is closed, inspected along with its neighbours, then treated before going back on sale. A housekeeping inspection protocol and a rodent and cockroach plan for the food areas prevent most crises.
Every day, a hotel, serviced residence or B&B welcomes luggage from all over. No star rating is immune to bed bugs, and food areas attract cockroaches and rodents as soon as hygiene or proofing slips.
We work to the Méthode Verrou: room-by-room detection, targeted treatment, sealing of entry points and follow-up. Slots are booked online to fit your check-outs and check-ins, and every visit ends with a same-day photo report.
Why hospitality professionals call us
We think in zones
One room affected? We also inspect the rooms above, below and either side, to treat the source and not just the symptom.
Kitchen and breakfast room
Secured bait stations, cockroach gel and proofing, documented for your food safety management plan.
Housekeeping teams that know what to look for
We show your housekeepers the signs to spot and what to do if in doubt.
Full traceability
Dated reports, products used, recommendations: everything you need to keep your records up to date and answer an inspector.
What an untreated infestation costs
Rooms off sale
A room that hasn't been treated and checked can't be resold. If the problem spreads, a whole floor leaves your inventory.
Your review score
A review mentioning bed bugs or cockroaches stays visible and can put off the next bookings.
A failed hygiene inspection
Signs of rodents or cockroaches in the kitchen can lead to formal remarks, or even administrative measures, during an inspection.
Spread through service
Trolleys, linen, work clothes: without precautions, bed bugs move from room to room, or even to staff homes.
The Booking.com guides
Three hands-on guides, written for you and your teams to apply as they are: protocols, printable checklists and answers to the questions that keep coming up.
A room-by-room inspection protocol for housekeeping teams
A few minutes of checks built into the check-out clean, to catch bed bugs before the next guest arrives.

Frequently asked questions
Do we need to close the whole floor for bed bugs?
Rarely. The affected room is closed and the adjoining rooms (either side, above, below) are inspected. How far closures go depends on what the inspection finds.
Can you work without disturbing guests?
Yes. Rooms are treated once vacated, in 2-hour slots, and communal areas outside peak times.
Do you offer regular monitoring?
Yes, through our prevention plan: scheduled visits, bait station checks and a report after every visit.
Does this apply to a B&B or gîte?
Yes. With one or two rooms the logic is the same: a check at every check-out, the room closed at the slightest doubt, an inspection before it goes back on sale.
